IN A DEEP CLEAN

Professional equipment and the right products

For a deep clean we use professional WIPCOOL equipment. Depending on the dirt, we choose the right technique.

  • A new indoor unit on a table with its louvres open, and the Airco Holland logo on the side.
Indoor unitTaken further apartWhere needed, the technician takes the indoor unit further apart.
  • Rein takes readings with a digital gauge at an outdoor unit on a gravel roof, with sun through the trees.
Outdoor unitThe outdoor unit tooCleaned and technically inspected at every service. More extensively in a deep clean.

Five techniques. We choose the one that suits the dirt.

  • Steam cleaning
  • Rinsing with warm and cold water
  • Pulse cleaning
  • Targeted pressure cleaning
  • Ozone treatment

No single cleaner for everything.

We also choose the product for each part and each kind of dirt, for example for the evaporator, the condensation drain, plastic parts or grease and dust.

Brands we use include

THE RIGHT TREATMENT

How to tell what your system needs

When did your air conditioning last have a professional service? That gives a first indication:

  1. Less than a year ago

For air conditioning that's serviced regularly, with a normal amount of dirt.

What it needs: A service or an intensive clean, see the service

  2. One to two years ago

For air conditioning that's clearly dirty inside, or hasn't been serviced for a while.

What it needs: An intensive clean, see the intensive clean

  3. More than two years ago, or never

For heavily soiled air conditioning, when a service or an intensive clean isn't enough.

What it needs: A deep clean, see the deep clean

Have a look yourself too

  • Switch the air conditioning off and shine a torch into the air outlet.
  • If you see a lot of dust or dark build-up on the inside or on the fan, it needs more than a regular service.
  • If your system is in a kitchen, a salon or a dusty room, it can get dirty faster.

Look, don't touch: Don't put your hands or anything else inside.

A cassette needs different work from a wall unit. A cassette unit has a panel with outlet louvres and often a pump that drains the condensation.

GOOD TO KNOW

Large indoor units and more outdoor units

An XL wall unit is clearly larger than the usual size of about 90 centimetres and has more surface to clean.

QUESTIONS

What people often ask

Question not answered here? Ask Fris, or call us on weekdays.

Call 023 785 50 29
What's the difference between a service and a clean?

In a service, the technician cleans what can be reached and checks and tests the whole system. In an intensive clean and a deep clean, the unit is opened up further and the parts inside are cleaned thoroughly.

Can I book a treatment as a one-off?

Yes, every treatment has a one-off price. With a plan you pay less and you get priority if your air conditioning breaks down.

My air conditioning smells. Which treatment do I need?

A smelly air conditioner is almost always a dirty one: dirty filters, mould or bacteria on the fins behind the filter, or a dried-out condensation drain. A regular service usually sorts it out. If the dirt goes deeper, it needs an intensive clean or a deep clean.

Do you service my brand?

Very likely. We service all the common brands, such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, LG, Panasonic, Toshiba, Samsung and Haier, even if another company installed your system.

Not sure which one you need?

Answer a few questions about your air conditioning, and we'll tell you which treatment it needs and what it costs.
